Immanuel's 11:00 Worship Service

Our 11:00 service is led on organ and piano by organist, Melody Bast. We are grateful for Melody's dedication and musical gifts. Melody also leads Immanuel's vocal choir and coordinates worship together with our pastor and other music leaders.

We select music from a variety of sources around the world Immanuel's making worship varied, meaningful, and interesting. Our roots date back to the sixteenth century when Martin Luther extended an already rich musical tradition by including the congregation in the singing of hymns and liturgy.  Among other resources we use the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Hymnal (ELW),  which provides a broad range of settings that blend familiar traditions with new texts and music.

Worship at Immanuel is first and foremost, Christ-centered. Worship is the common experience in our community that leads us toward lives of grace.

Through sharing of the sacraments and participation in styles of worship that engage all of our senses, we seek to grow in faith and be renewed for daily life. All are welcome!
